STATIONERY (GIFT) BOX

Made this stationery box to match the greeting card I had already done. Thanks to Dawn Griffith (card) and Maymay Helms (box) for videos.

FOLD FLAT (or BOX) CARD INSTRUCTIONS

Originally I made this 'box' card to include with my Healing Cards Class and used a stamp set called 'Beacon' from MaymayMadeIt. When Stampin' Up! released their Carols of Christmas holiday stamp set early, I wanted to showcase it at a recent class and I thought this card style would be perfect.

CAROLS OF CHRISTMAS

I found an idea for a Fold Flat Card online but the finished card was bigger than an A2 so I revamped it to fit a standard envelope and changed the technique for easier assembly. Using the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set and Card Front Builder Dies, I created several versions to showcase the 'frames.' I love that the flower/star frame can be used all year-round (here I just used a sticker). I included the Christmas card in this month's class and everyone loved it. It's difficult to stop making them, they're so easy! Leave a comment for free pictorial instructions.

COFFEE CAFE

My niece drinks Maxwell House Chai Latte and I noticed the lid of the container had an embossed coffee cup, so I asked for the empty containers and created this sweet little host gift, door prize, or craft sale item. Just add handmade (I used vellum) envelopes, note cards, decorated pen, ribbon, and a tag! The container is wrapped with a 2.5" x 12" piece of DSP that meets exactly (and matches!). I accented with red to coordinate with the red lid.

POCKET PANTS

How fun is this card using our new Stampin' Up! Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle!

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

To encourage guests to register early (and save me from having to create more card kits at the last minute), this free card/envelope was presented to each of the first six people that registered for my recent Stampin' Class. Several other guests had an 'ah-ha' moment!

WASHI & FRAMELITS

I caught Kylie Bertucci's live chat this morning and she created a quick card using Washi Tape and Framelits Dies, which inspired me to create these two - one uses product from the Urban Underground Suite and the other uses Stylish Stems Framelits Dies. Adhere strips of Washi Tape to card front, die cut shapes and 'lift' using adhesive strips and/or Dimensionals, adhere a piece of coordinating cardstock to inside of card front, then adhere the diecuts. Stamp a greeting and add embellishments, if desired. So easy!

NAILED IT!

Love the new Nailed It! Stamp Set and Framelits (available as a Bundle) as well as the Urban Underground Embellishments - now available from Occasions Catalog. This is a standard A2 card with 45 degree angle cuts made at fold line.

HOLDER

Found a wonderful holder on Pinterest from Ann's Happy Stampers and adapted instructions to use 8.5"x11" cardstock. Gave as door prizes at my Christmas Party, as Christmas gifts with A2 sized cards. Having a class next month to create more. So handy to hold our Dimensionals, or Rhinestones and Pearls, or doilies.
