Puns From The Past

I have a new friend that has decided to become a stamper. After the new year, we'll sit down and actually stamp something. She ordered the stamp set Puns From The Past; and since I already had that set I stamped a few cards for her. I used several punches so she has an idea of what they would look like. I kept the cards fairly easy, as she "likes things simple."

CHRISTMAS GIFT CARD HOLDERS

A friend requested that I make a gift card holder that would hold 6 gift cards plus a place to insert money. I used 24" cardstock (sold in packs by the Cricut machine) and accordion folded. I attached only the top to a wallet-type card and used a Velcro closing. One was for Dad (deer hunter, retired snowplow driver); the other for Mom. She said her folks were really happy with them (as well as the gift cards and cash!) and will keep them for next year to be refilled!

The greeting card is a slider. By placing your thumb on the lone pansy and sliding outward, the inside message is revealed.














The hanging artwork is covered chipboard. The pansies have all been "lifted" with foam dots or dimensionals.

This is an African art hanger. Instead of using rings to hold the two together, I used black cording. The "map" is cork with rubberstamped images.

This is a combination art hanger -- floral on one side and patriotic on the other side. It was made for a very kind co-worker who is also a military mom (of two).
